On each of GP15’s two month-long legs, the R/V Roger Revelle will sail with a science party of 37 scientists and technicians. The data collected while at sea will support more than 26 separate research groups. Due to the limited space on-board, not every group has a representative on the Revelle. Some will wait on shore for the samples and data they need to further their research. These data will be collected by technicians who collect scientific data for a living and other scientists pulling double duty.
Team members sailing on both legs 1 and 2 (Alaska to Tahiti).
